Re: non-Dead: Anyone get their Janis Joplin cd yet? |
Signed by the cover artist, Stanley Mouse.
I e-mailed them yesterday to see what was up, and it turned out that there was a glitch when it first went on sale and you had to select the cd as well as the signature (I only selected the signature). It's fixed now, and they were cool enough to honor the price that I mistakenly paid. I thought that $20 for a signed cd shipped to me was too good to be true, but $35.50 is still pretty dang good (it's $55.50 now).

LOL...thanks for the laugh. They probably could have done that or just cancelled my order, so I'm pretty happy with how things worked out. Since I got the cheaper signed cd I went ahead and bought an additional unsigned one to support the cause, so now I'll have a great gift ready to go. :)

All I can say is "whewww..."
Just mindlessly reading threads, per usual, eh?, I noticed "ack! I always worry about this shit too!" so am glad to see it all worked out...
And, the signature stuff is funny...ie, another "dead person signature" possibility...? ON an item that didn't exist when they did? Great marketing possibilities.
Now THAT's a BIZ model!
